The utils/adobe/linux directory contains the Adobe Acrobat Reader utility program for Linux. You need to install this program (or another PDF viewer) to read documents stored on this CD-ROM in Portable Document Format.

Please note that you must read and accept Adobe’s licence agreement before you can run
Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you do not wish to agree to this proprietary
licence, you may be interested in investigating alternatives like
kghostview, xpdf, ggv and
gv, all of which run under the Linux operating system.
You can download the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader from Adobe’s Web site or from a mirror site like the Australian AARNET Mirror.
