This file contains a list of changes between releases of the hymnal Гимны
веры христиан (Hymns of Christian Faith).


Printed Edition
===============

The printed hymnal Гимны веры христиан was published by Союз Христиан
Евангельской Веры Пятидесятников в Австралии (Union of Slavic Evangelical
Pentecostal Christians in Australia) in 1981.  It contains 794 Russian
hymns, 52 choruses and 115 Ukrainian hymns and choruses.


Digital Edition
===============

An initial set of overhead projection lyrics were prepared by Yuri Vinaeff
and others in 2004-07.  These were completely reworked by John Zaitseff in
2010 and released as the Digital Edition, along with an easy-to-use web-
based interface called the Church Lyrics Database.


Version 1.0 (released 20th December, 2010)
------------------------------------------

This version contains all of the Russian hymns (794) and choruses (52) of
the printed edition, along with thirteen alternative versions (11а, 163а,
280а, 335а, 338а, 366а, 437а, 479а, 622а, 640а, 713а, 773а and 784а) and
eleven additional hymns (numbered 795 to 805).  Thirteen Ukrainian hymns
and choruses are included (13, 32, 38, 40, 95, 96, 97, 98, 103, 104, 105,
108 and 110).  In addition, 372 dual-language lyrics are included: a grand
total of 1,255 overhead projection documents, each of which is available
in three different file formats.


Version 1.1 (released 7th November, 2016)

This version includes all Ukrainian hymns from the original printed
edition (a total of 115 hymns and choruses), as well as two additional
Ukrainian hymns (numbered 116 and 117) and two alternative versions (71а
and 84а).  A total of 99 new Russian hymns have been added (numbered 806
to 904) with one alternative version (413а), as well as 14 additional
choruses (numbered 53 to 66).  All hymn and chorus lyrics have been
rechecked, with many minor corrections.  A grand total of 1,637 overhead
projection documents are part of this release, each of which is available,
once again, in three different file formats.
