Hoddles Track

★★★☆☆

Hoddles Track is located at the summit of Saddleback Mountain, west of Kiama, or alternatively, at the northern end of Foxground. The track is a remnant of the rough track that used to link Kiama to Bowral and is named after the surveyor Robert Hoddle. It fell into disrepair after a better route over the escarpment was found and now only a small portion remains.

You can access the track from the summit of Saddleback Mountain, which also features a number of lookouts. The track is marked, but can be rough going in some sections, especially near The Barren Grounds escarpment. There is no access to Barren Grounds from Hoddles Track.
