★★★☆☆

Horseshoe Falls Reserve is located on the northern side of Hazelbrook in the Blue Mountains. This little visited reserve features a number of waterfalls, some which are clearly marked and others just waiting to find for the more adventurous. I visited the reserve after my morning walk to Furber Steps, and even after all the stairs that I did, I had enough energy to fit this walk in as well. The walk is not too difficult, but can be muddy, especially near the falls. The signs can also be a little confusing, so a map really helps.

I visited the four main falls on the walk (Fairy Falls, Horseshoe Falls, Oakland Falls and Burgess Falls) as well as Glow Worm Nook Falls and Vera Falls. Horseshoe Falls was the most spectacular of the lot for me. The gully through which Hazelbrook Creek flows was also very scenic, especially just past Oakland Falls. A very nice walk that I enjoyed doing.
