★★★★☆

The Chau Chak Wing Museum is the University of Sydney's museum of art, science, history and ancient cultures. It was formed by the amalgamation of the Nicholson Museum, the Macleay Museum and the university art collection and opened in 2020. The museum is located on the main campus of the University of Sydney in Camperdown, about a 20 minute walk from Central Station.

The museum is spread across four floors with both permanent and temporary displays. The Nicholson Collection is the largest collection of antiquities in the southern hemisphere and was the highlight for me. I very much enjoyed the collection of historical artefacts, especially those from ancient Egypt, Rome and the Middle East. There was much to see in the museum and you can easily spend a few hours here.
