The Two Valley Trail has been on my to do list for a while, and on this beautiful autumn day I finally had the opportunity to complete the loop. Starting from Canterbury, I followed the Cup and Saucer Creek to Wolli Creek Regional Park for the start of the section through the bushland which had been saved from the motorway. This section of the walk felt like I was far from the city, with its beautiful, almost rainforest type of vegetation.

Exiting at Waterworth Park at Wolli Creek, I headed back via the Cooks River Cycleway, a shared cycleway / walkway that follows Cooks River to Strathfield. This time I had the opportunity to walk on the southern side of the river (walkers only), which was a nice change.

It was a great day out with perfect weather, making for a very pleasant walk.
