Charles Darwin Walk

Grade 3 Grade 3

Wentworth Falls, NSW
4.5 km (2 hrs )
★★★☆☆

This track follows in the footsteps of the naturalist Charles Darwin, who in 1836 walked along the Jamison Creek to the cliff's edge at Wentworth Falls. The walk along the creek with the flowers, trees and hanging swamps is pleasant, but it is the views over the Jamison Valley and Wentworth Falls that are the highlight. There are a lot of tracks that join this one at the falls, including Rocket Point Circuit, National Pass and Undercliff Track; all of which I was fortunate to do at later dates.

This is an easy walk, making for a great day out and providing a little variety to the grandeur of the other tracks in the Blue Mountains.
