I have been blessed to have been able to visit Uluru a number of times, and each time I come, I once again fall in love with this amazing place. The red glow of the monolith is a sight that needs to be seen in person to be believed, and the stillness of the surrounding desert always installs a sense of calm for me.

The three tracks that I visited here are the Mala Walk, Lungkata Walk and Kuniya Walk, and all form part of the longer Base Walk that circles Uluru. I would have loved to have done the complete circuit, but this was unfortunately closed due to flooding on my last visit. The great thing is that these three tracks visit the most scenic destinations at Uluru, namely Kantju Gorge and the Mutitjulu Waterhole. There are numerous things to see along the way and the benches provided allow you to sit and enjoy the moment.
