This track explores the cliffs and valleys east of the Three Sisters, between Katoomba and Leura. While I have descended and ascended the Giant Stairway a number of times in the past, the descent from Leura Cascades to Leura Forest was a first for me. The incredible greenery of Fern Bower and the forest at Lila Falls was stunning, as was the scenery around Leura Cascades - some of the nicest in the Blue Mountains.

This was quite a challenging track, with hundreds of stairs to negotiate. Take your time and enjoy the incredible journey. It is a track that I would highly recommend.
