Subject:   Just two more nights…

I can’t believe that the few weeks since I last wrote to you have gone so quickly! That’s right, only “two more sleeps to go”, as one of my cousins would say…

As I mentioned last time, I would very much appreciate your prayers during my travels in Russia and Ukraine. In particular:

By the way, I haven’t mentioned until now that our team consists of ten Australians (Colin Woodhouse, Maree Woodhouse, June Henderson, Sarah Henderson, Greg Raisin, Neil Morrow, Teagan Morrow, Emma Hansen, Matthew Efflick and myself) and a number of Russian-speaking interpreters. A large group, by any account!

Feel free, of course, to see us off at Sydney Airport, Terminal 1. We will be flying out on Air China flight CA176 at 11:20am, so I guess we will need to go through Customs at around 8:30am or so.

I will try to send one or two e-mails once I am in Russia and Ukraine, if at all possible. And, as always, I look forward to hearing from you, too!

Yours truly,

John Zaitseff
