Part of my holiday to Adelaide: an unexpected break in Broken Hill, after the stator (part of the battery charging circuit) on my Honda VFR800 motorcycle failed. I walked around a small part of this outback mining city, past the present-day railway station, up to the Line of Lode Miners’ Memorial and lookout, along some of the city streets and to the Sulphide Street railway museum.
